Artist's Comments

This is a painting i did in highschool with acrylics in my OAC year. We chose a theme and did a series of 5 paintings on that theme. My theme was myth in modern context.

I enjoyed the subject matter so much i decided to revisit the painting with oils this year. yes that is gold paint and yes, it was a lot of fun to use and i had to restrain myself from using too much.

If I were to do the painting all from scratch again i wouuld change a lot of things, but i still like this painting.

thank you kindly. i'm prertty pleased with how he turned out myself :D If ravens could be sexy, I'd say that's one sexy raven.
